Blending jazz and electronics, Speakers Corner Quartet showcase their new project, alongside very special guests. Join us in the Hall or watch from your home.

A story fifteen years in the making, Speakers Corner Quartet started as the house band at the open-mic night in Brixton, London. The band now return for their first live show in almost a decade.

The Quartet itself comprises of BiscuitKwake BassPeter Bennie, and Raven Bush, but the night will feature a long list of the band's friends and family. They will exclusively be performing brand-new material which will be heard for the first time as part of an extended set at the Barbican this autumn.

The special guest artists’ line-up will include singer, songwriter, producer and director Lafawndah; poet, spoken word artist and playwright Kae Tempest; singer, songwriter, composer and producer Mica Levi; London-based filmmaker, artist and musician Trustfall; South London singer, songwriter, musician and record producer Sampha; singer-songwriter Tirzah; South East London vocalist, musician and DJ Coby Sey; songwriter, producer and keyboardist Joe Armon Jones; alternative-soul singer and songwriter Tawiah; London-based producer and musician from Yokohama, Hinako Omori; poet, spoken word artist and musician James Massiah; singer, songwriter and producer Leyla; London-based French multi-instrumentalist, producer and singer-songwriter Léa Sen; South London producer and multi-instrumentalist Wu-Lu; fellow South Londoner Confucius MC plus a video piece from ambient music pioneer and meditation practitioner Laraaji.
