Christian Löffler

German electronic producer and visual artist Christian Löffler conjures up light in an immersive live performance of euphoric minimal techno.

Combining euphoria with introspection, Löffler has become known for a highly emotive sound that blends wistful melodies, drum machines and found sound: the result is slow-burn, warm minimal techno.

This specially commissioned, shimmering audio-visual show sees the performance of new album Lys alongside glowing stage design by Canadian light designer Chris Moylan. The sound and visuals combine to form a luminescent, immersive experience – enveloping the audience in a world of light and conjuring up the forces of nature. An audio/visual experience to lose yourself in.

Support comes from Fejká, whose music treads the line between dreamy soft ambient and the hard punch of techno.

This event has been rescheduled from Monday 25 May 2020.

Please note that this performance will contain strobe lighting.

Produced by the Barbican in association with Soundcrash
