Drop off your bags and coats in our free cloakroom before your performance

A free cloakroom service is available immediately prior to performances.

Our main cloakroom on the Stalls floor (Level -1) is open from 90 minutes before an event and until 30 mins after the event on performance days. Opening hours can vary depending on our event programme.

Please donate a voluntary £2 contribution via cash or contactless when using Level -1.

You can find more on our charitable activities here barbican.org.uk/supportus

Alternative cloakroom facilities are also available outside the Art Gallery on Level 3 during exhibition hours.

The comfort and safety of our audiences and staff is always paramount. As part of our security measures we have reinforced our restrictions on bags inside our venues. Only one, reasonably-sized, handbag per person may be taken inside our auditoria and all bags may be searched. You may find it easier to avoid bringing bags no larger than 32cm L x 18cm W x 22cm H on your next visit.

At no time should your bag be left unattended.

Although we have additional staff available, whenever possible, please avoid bringing any large bags to the Barbican on your next visit.

If you do have to check any bags in to our free cloakroom we suggest you arrive early.

Your co-operation is appreciated and we look forward to welcoming you to the Barbican.
