HARRI - SS26
📍 Sculpture Court | 👥 ~500 guests
Harri brought his signature inflatable aesthetic to life beneath the Barbican’s brutalist skyline. Introducing his first ready-to-wear collection, the designer reimagined sculptural rubber forms into wearable pieces - bomber jackets, mesh tanks and tailored trousers - all exploring the tension between structure and movement. Futuristic yet human, the show transformed the open-air Sculpture Court into a space where architecture, fashion and form breathed as one.

Supriya Lele – SS24
📍 Car Park 5 | 👥 ~250 guests
The first fashion show held in this raw and atmospheric venue. Described as a “post-modern testament” to multicultural London, the show embraced environmental awareness and authenticity.

16Arlington – AW24
📍 The Curve | 👥 ~250 guests
Held inside the curved walls of our ground floor gallery, this show merged fashion with fine art, inspired by Charlie Fox’s surrealist exhibition My Head is a Haunted House presented at Sadie Coles HQ in 2019.

Roksanda – SS24
📍 Sculpture Court | 👥 ~500 guests
Fluid silhouettes met monumental concrete. The juxtaposition of soft draping against angular architecture made for an unforgettable presentation.

Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood – FW19 Campaign
📍 Across the Centre | Photoshoot
A dramatic takeover of the Barbican Estate brought the label’s subversive spirit to life in our most iconic outdoor spaces.

  Sculpture Court
The dramatic outdoor setting of the Sculpture Court is framed by curving concrete walkways and overlooked by the iconic forms of the Barbican’s residential towers

  Lakeside Terrace
One of London’s most unexpected locations, a bustling terrace surrounded by a lake, fountains, elevated walkways and brutalist architecture

  Foyers
Within the interiors of the Barbican Centre are a multi-levelled complex of foyers and staircases with a futuristic, brutalist aesthetic

  Entrance Walkways
Connecting the levels of the Barbican Centre’s entrances are a sequence of cascading ramps and atmospherically lit concrete walkways
Brand Dinners & Activations
Our venues aren’t limited to shows alone. We regularly host fashion presentations, private dinners, product launches and immersive brand experiences - blending architecture, atmosphere, and storytelling.

Aesop Fragrance Launch
Aesop’s lush table setup in our Conservatory transformed the space into a verdant retreat, brimming with vibrant greenery and inviting scents, offering a rich, sensory experience that brought the essence of summer to life.

RIXO SS22
For their SS22 presentation, RIXO transformed the Conservatory into a retro-inspired travel lounge - complete with boarding passes, cocktail trolleys, and destination-themed zones. Titled Bon Voyage, the collection was a celebration of escapism and wanderlust, taking guests on a nostalgic journey through 1970s jet-set glamour. Models walked through tropical foliage and beneath warm dappled light, as the Barbican’s lush Conservatory became a vibrant backdrop for hand-painted prints, flowing silhouettes, and vintage palettes. The immersive setup allowed guests to explore each look up close, with the brand’s signature playfulness woven through every detail.

Net-a-Porter x The King’s Foundation
In partnership with King Charles III’s charity, The King’s Foundation, Net-a-Porter launched a luxury capsule collection inspired by Scotland’s breathtaking natural landscapes. Part of the ongoing Modern Artisan project - a platform supporting emerging fashion and textile talent - the collection was revealed at a private lunch in our lush Conservatory.

Barbican x Highsnobiety
A bold fusion of fashion and architecture, this exclusive preview event saw leading influencers gather in the Conservatory for the unveiling of the Barbican x Highsnobiety capsule collection. Guests enjoyed a Brutalist twist on traditional high tea - a culinary homage to structure and simplicity - surrounded by tropical foliage and concrete texture. The result? A laid-back yet refined environment where content creation, conversation, and culture collided.
