Jeanette Winterson comes to the Barbican for a day of events to celebrate her most recent novel.

Join Jeanette Winterson for a series of happenings inspired by her 2019, Booker Prize nominated, release Frankissstein and our major summer exhibition AI: More than Human.

Frankissstein takes Shelley's novel of a similar name as a jumping off point, but this story is very much one for our time. Considering both the ethics of creation and the possibilities of artificial intelligence, the book shines a light on the deepening relationship between humanity and technology.

Throughout the day the Life Rewired Hub will be taken over with activities and exhibits inspired by the novel.

At 2.30pm there will be a dramatic reading by Jeanette, followed by a discussion and Q&A session. 

Following the reading, Jeanette will  be on-site for a book signing.
