Bring your school group along and let them experience modern cinema as well as a fun day out of the classroom.

Wizard of Oz Family Film Club board game

Have a go at this Family Film Club workshop in your classroom, inspired by The Wizard of Oz.

Get your students creativity flowing and get them to work in pairs to create their own board game. Take a picture of your creation and tag us on Twitter (@barbicancentre) or Instagram (@barbicancentre), we'd love to see what you've made!

Your students can make their very own animation with this workshop by artist Shelly Wain, inspired by Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach.


Create a Where the Wild Things Are costume

Learn how to make fabric wolf feet and paper wolf ears, inspired by Where the Wild Things Are.


My Neighbour Totoro paper puppets

Learn how to make your very own paper Totoro puppet in part one of this workshop, inspired by the beautiful Studio Ghibli film, My Neighbor Totoro.

In part two, have a go at making the Catbus, another magical character that appears in the film.
