Images, Agency, and the Environment

Investigate the agency of images in relation to environmental awareness and consider how images can affect and be active in cultural, social and political situations in this talk and panel discussion. How can images affect change? How can arts and culture engage audiences in pressing environmental concerns, and create shifts in attitude and behaviour?

Speakers include Magnum Photographer Sim Chi Yin, Ella Saltmarshe from The Long Time Project, Magnum Cultural Director, Sophie Wright and Emma Lewis, Assistant Curator at Tate Modern, who will each give short presentations, followed by a panel discussion.
