Alessandro Cortini + Suzanne Ciani

Alessandro Cortini looking through a reflective tube

A double bill of innovative musicians experimenting with electronic instrumentation and visuals.

Cortini’s 2017 critically-acclaimed album Avanti was an emotively animated body of work with aching electronics and cathartic dissonance, a break from his previous work as part of Nine Inch Nails. Flash forward to 2019, and his latest work Volume Massimo has started to take flight, performed here for the first time in the UK with new visuals.

Ciani’s prolific work spanning across commercials, video games and feature films has also incorporated audio-visual elements. Her sixteen solo albums across a 40-year career has incorporated sophisticated synth modulations as well as neo-classical compositions, including her recent quadraphonic Buchla modular synth performance recording LIVE Quadraphonic.

This concert will start at the advertised start time and running times will be confirmed closer to the event
