Open Rehearsal

Junior Guildhall Symphony Orchestra

Get a fascinating insight into a classical music rehearsal as the musicians from Junior Guildhall rehearse for their evening concert.

The programme features works by three of the most famous Russian composers from the Romantic era: Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings, performed by the Junior Guildhall String Ensemble conducted by Julian Clayton; followed by Mussorgsky’s Khovanshchina Prelude (Dawn on the Moscow River) and Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances, performed by the Junior Guildhall Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dominic Wheeler.
