An immersive performance by THABO into the realm of Bantutronic: a genre and philosophy founded by Julianknxx, THABO, and musicians from the African Bantu diaspora.

To celebrate the closing weeks of Julianknxx: Chorus in Rememory of Flight, this event will uncover the foundational stories and languages of Africa, presented alongside contemporary sounds and voices. Both a collective and a broader artistic practice, the project unites artists from the Bantu diaspora to explore, progress, and express the beauty of Bantu culture.

For this special performance THABO, accompanied by pianist Aron Kyne, will guide audiences on a musical journey, presenting a series of songs in response to Chorus in Rememory of Flight.

Seating is unallocated.

For over a decade, THABO has been a captivating musician and storyteller, using his voice to shed light on pressing global issues such as climate change and social challenges.

THABO’s artistic expression has now broadened and evolved to embrace the BantuTronic philosophy - a compelling exploration of Bantu culture 500 years in the past and 500 years in the future.
