Theatre & Dance Autumn 2023

An ensemble of performers gather on stage in a decadent room, a large circle light hangs above them.

There's a whole feast of shows to enjoy this autumn. From a new landmark production of the epic Mahabharata from Toronto's Why Not Theatre to captivating international dance from Pam Tanowitz/David Lang and South Korean choreographer Eun-Me Ahn. Belarus Free Theatre return with a gothic-noir thriller featuring artists from Belarus and Ukraine.

In The Pit, there's new work from Open Lab alumni including The PappyShow, Julene Robinson and emma + pj.  Enjoy captivating dance and physical theatre from Dance Umbrella and Rhiannon Faith Company and family fun from Told by an Idiot.

Acclaimed playwright Inua Ellams takes over the Pit theatre this autumn with 05Fest, a thought-provoking festival of poetry that's sure to give us all a sense of belonging.
