Discover how to make fresh pasta and the perfect homemade pesto at this fun, interactive workshop with Barbican Kitchen's Head Chef.

Members are invited to take part in our interactive Sunday morning food workshop taking place in Barbican Kitchen with Head Chef Francesco. Learn how to make the three shapes of fresh pasta without needing a pasta machine at home and mix the perfect fresh pesto to accompany the dish.

You'll leave with a fundamental knowledge in pasta making, plus anything that you make on the day. Members will also be offered a complimentary pastry and hot drink and the chance to chat with other Members on the morning. 

The event runs from 9-10am, before the Kitchen opens to the general public. Arrive from 8.45am to enjoy your complimentary hot drink and pastry before the workshop starts at 9am.

Francesco - Head Chef at Barbican Kitchen

Francesco is the Head Chef and will be leading the workshops, having delivered these fun, delicious and participatory sessions for several years. He’s an Italian pizza chef and qualified sous chef who’s been at the Barbican for almost 5 years and part of the Benugo family even longer.
