Masculinities

Join Stephen Koch as he reflects on the life of celebrated photographer Peter Hujar.

This evening will see Stephen Koch, Director of the Peter Hujar Archive, discuss the work and legacy of his dear friend, the celebrated photographer Peter Hujar, whose intimate black-and-white portraits, nudes, cityscapes and still-lives memorialise New York’s downtown bohemian scene from the late 1960s through to the onset of the AIDS crisis in the 1980s.

This event is programmed to coincide with our major spring exhibition Masculinities: Liberation through Photography.
