Nairne joined the Barbican as Curator in 2015. Her exhibitions include Imran Qureshi: Where the Shadows are so Deep (2016) and Basquiat: Boom for Real (2017). She is a regular catalogue author, a contributor to frieze and a previous Jerwood Writer in Residence.
