Guildhall presents Eduardo de Filippo's play

Saturday, Sunday, Monday at the Guildhall School

An extended Italian family and friends gather for the traditional Sunday ragù. The mother and father are at war with each other, although neither knows why.

When the entire basis of family coherence is threatened by the inevitable volcanic eruptions it is the young daughter who unknowingly has the key to peace and harmony, but can it really be that simple?

Listen to our podcast with cast members Elena Faverio & Uri Levy and Stage Manager Chloë Siller as we discuss the rehearsal process and working with director Joseph Blatchley, the challenges and joys of having a large cast, and getting to grips with cooking in the rehearsal room and on stage.

Play Eduardo de Filippo
Adapted by Keith Waterhouse and Willis Hall

Presented by the Guildhall School of Music & Drama
