Mercury Fur

Guildhall School presents Philip Ridley's play

Mercury Fur at the Guildhall School

Dystopian London; a derelict estate; a deserted flat. Two brothers, struggling to survive, plan parties where the guests live out their wildest fantasies.

When events spiral out of control, they must decide what to sacrifice to save the ones they love. Philip Ridley’s apocalyptic vision of the future is a profound indictment of the world we live in now.

Listen to our podcast with director John Haidar and cast members Mirren Mack and Joseph Potter as we discuss the play, their first experience of Mercury Fur, the rehearsal process, and what they're most looking forward to about opening night.

This play contains violence, strong language and scenes of a disturbing nature.

Promoted by the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

On general sale from 6 August 2018. Priority booking for Guildhall Circle members from 30 July 2018.

This amateur production of Mercury Fur is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French Ltd.
