at Barbican OpenFest

mask making

Bring your creativity and imagination to this workshop where you can get sticking, gluing and colouring in to create your very own mask

Join Donna Wilson to make your own mask. We’ll provide you with a cardboard base cut with eyes and nose, plus all kinds of bright, colourful bits to decorate it. You can be as elaborate or simple as you like, the important thing is to just have fun and let you own unique personality shine through.

Once you’ve made your masks it’s yours to take away -  or display it for everyone to see in our Barbican gallery.

Mask-making is suitable for all artistic abilities and ages, although small children will need to be accompanied by an adult.
