Celebrating fashion and filth with dirty talks and sweaty nights.

Rebellious bodies, radical fashion and joyful disruption: Dirty Weekend takes the ideas at the heart of our major new fashion exhibition Dirty Looks and dials them up – celebrating sex, sweat, protest and pleasure through performances, conversation and community. 

This weekend takeover fills the Barbican’s spaces with installations, talks, screenings, live art and club energy.

Pleasure Garden: Conservatory Takeover

Join us on Sunday for an intimate day of talks, readings, workshops and pop-up performances on sex, desire and all things dirty. 

Six performances and readings will happen on the hour across the day including a new collaboration between artist Sophie Cundale and author Izabella Scott that inhabits overlapping realms of fiction, fashion and disguise.
