Getting Intimate: Participatory Panel (18+)

Dirty Weekend

Tommy Ross Willaims

What is intimacy and how can it help us to live and relate well? Our panel of industry professionals led by Tommy Ross Williams reveal the playful, personal and political importance of intimacy.

In an epidemic of censorship, loneliness and the increasing technological atomisation of the self, discussions on intimacy, consent forward culture and sexual freedoms become ever more urgent.

Intimacy and ways of relating are not often taught in school, and yet connection is a human need and the scaffolding on which society is built.

In this participatory talk we invite practitioners who work with intimacy professionally, including on stage and screen and in text to share their knowledge on body language, safety and coming together in care

Age restriction: This event is 18+ (All attendees must bring accepted form of legal ID)
This workshop may include movement and consensual tactility. The event may include discussion that contain explicit elements and reference to sexualised imagery or events.
