With ChatGPT giving sex advice and a revolution in apps offering services that mean to replace human interaction with mediated experiences including virtual partners or teledildonics, we ask how is technology changing the face of sex and desire? What does the future of intimacy look like as we prepare to make the next technological leap? And how is this bound into image and actual economies and sex work online and IRL? 

HOWL is ‍a sexual wellness brand revolutionising intimacy through innovative sex tech products. They leverage the power of experiential events and their viral media channel to dismantle shame and champion pleasure.

Panellists

Dr Benjamin Weil (they/he) is a researcher, writer and sex worker living in London. They are the Head of Research and Community Knowledge Generation at The Love Tank CIC, co-producing harm reduction and health promotion materials with underserved communities.

Leanne Elliott Young (she/her) is the Co-Founder & CEO of IoDF, a defining voice in the future of fashion and one of the most influential cultural strategists shaping the intersection of fashion, technology, and regulation.

Kaiden Ford is a non-binary artist who expresses themself and communicates with the world in whatever ways they can. They are best known for creating immersive fantasies that blur the line between reality and imagination.

Kate Devlin is Professor of AI & Society at King’s College London. In 2016 she ran the UK’s first sex tech hackathon. She is the author of Turned On: Science, Sex and Robots (Bloomsbury, 2018), which examines the ethical and social implications of technology and intimacy.
