Workshop: Come & Sing Arvo Pärt/The Carice Singers

Arvo Pärt at 90

A choir in a church space

Aimed at choral singers looking for a challenge, this workshop offers a chance to rehearse and perform Pärt’s Morning Star and The Beatitudes with The Carice Singers and Christopher Bowers-Broadbent.

Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the inspirations, artistic visions, and compositional techniques behind Pärt’s music. The workshop explores his tintinnabuli style, highlighting its simplicity and emotional depth. Under the expert guidance of George Parris, singers will focus on phrasing, vocal blend, and expressive interpretation, while discovering how Pärt’s profound compositions are brought to life in performance. This is a rare opportunity to explore and perform these remarkable choral works.

This workshop will last approximately 2 hours.
