The Harvest Time Project: A Tribute to Pharoah Sanders

Part of EFG London Jazz Festival

Harvest Time

The Harvest Time Project celebrates the late, great Pharoah Sanders, performed live by an ensemble of pioneering jazz musicians.

Pharoah Sanders, one of the most important and innovative recording artists of our time, is celebrated in The Harvest Time Project – the UK/London version is the third ever in a series of evolving live iterations of Sanders’ iconic 1977 record: Pharoah.

The Harvest Time Project was created in tribute to the late-saxophonist after his passing in 2022, to be performed around the world by different ensembles reinterpreting the record’s seminal track: Harvest Time.

Following the record label Luaka Bop's first-ever official reissue of the record, the project will be performed live by the legendary original Pharoah guitarist Tisziji MuñozBrazilian singer Domenico Lancellotti, under musical director Joshua Abrams, and London-based progressive jazz trio Ill Considered.
