A Polyester x Barbican collaboration contextualising our blockbuster exhibition RE/SISTERS: A Lens on Gender and Ecology and highlighting its importance in the world today.

We've paired up with Polyester for an exclusive evening celebrating the artists and resisters whose work inspired the show.

You're invited to join us for a private view of the exhibition, followed by a live podcast discussion with artist Rene Matic, activist Diyora Shadijanova and RE/SISTERS Curator Alona Pardo, who'll chat about the themes raised and the artworks on display. There'll be drinks in the Conservatory provided by Brixton Brewery, and you'll be able to take in the beauty of our sculptural installation, crafted by Indian artist Ranjani Shettar.

A very limited number of tickets are available for Young Barbican members - if you're aged 14-25 you can join up and become a member for free. Find out more here: Join Young Barbican.
