Kaushiki Chakraborty performing on stage smiling in a sari

Trailblazing vocalist Kaushiki Chakraborty brings the khayal vocal form to the Hall, performing music that'll transport you into a different world far from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

India’s finest vocalist returns to London after her critically acclaimed concert at Darbar Festival in 2020. Deepen your spiritual and meditational aspect of being as Chakraborty develops ragas into new forms of the fastest improvisation and heightened state of consciousness.

Accompanied by maestro tabla player Yashwant Vaishnav who provides sensitive yet exhilarating support, with masters Murad Ali on the sarangi and Tanmay Deochake on the harmonium, who weave the raga phrases along with Kaushiki to an unbeatable quartet taking ragas to dizzying heights.
