Family Film Club

animation of the witch looking over her book of spells

For International Women’s Day on Tuesday 8 March, we’ve put together a fantastic line up of short films all directed by female filmmakers from around the world.

We’re also delighted to welcome writer, animation director and character designer, Evgenia Golubeva, director of one of our absolute faves – The Witch and the Baby – to introduce the screening programme and give us a bit of insight before the film about what being a filmmaker entails and any inspiring tips for young cinema enthusiasts and animators.

Total event runtime approx 70 min.

All films screening with HoH captions. Introduction BSL interpreted.

Adults can only come if they’re bringing a child, and children can only come along if accompanied by an adult. If you’re over 18, we’re afraid being a ‘big kid’ doesn’t count.
