LSO Percussion Ensemble

LSO St Luke's

The LSO Percussion Ensemble stands behind orchestral percussion instruments

Distinguished orchestral players with enviable reputations in their own right, the LSO Percussion Ensemble brings a programme of invigorating and vibrant works to LSO St Luke’s this February.

Expect rapid-fire notes from Makoto Ozone’s adrenaline-fuelled Kato’s Revenge, cascading and swirling melodies from Joe Locke’s Her Sanctuary and mesmerising rhythms from Steve Reich’s Quartet. Composer and pianist Gwilym Simcock also joins the quartet to perform two of his own compositions.
