Pixar's Up

This funny and poignant tale is Pixar at its very best, and really one to see on the big screen.

Desperate to fulfil a lifelong dream, 78 year old Carl Fredricksen (Edward Asner) attaches thousands of balloons to his house in an attempt to fly away to the South American wilderness. Unbeknownst to the unorthodox jet-setter, he picks up an accidental stowaway in the form of do-gooder boy scout Russell and soon the unlikely pair are off on an airborne adventure.
