RHS on Tour

The Royal Horticultural Society On Tour will be putting down roots on our Lakeside so you can buy the perfect plant for your home, attend a free workshop or join a tour of the local flora and fauna

There will be an array of tropical houseplants for sale as well as seasonal blooms aplenty to brighten up your balcony, window box or city patch. RHS gardening experts will be on hand with free advice and to answer questions about the plants you have been nurturing to ensure healthy and happy gardens. Full of friendly family fun for budding gardeners and expert growers alike, do not miss this opportunity to go green and take home your own piece of plant paradise!

You’ll also be able to become a member of the RHS with an offer of 12 months for the price of 9, bringing you a range of benefits including discounted Show tickets, free gardening advice, and free entry access to nearly 200 gardens around the country. The RHS bookshop will also be stocking a range of horticultural related titles.

Workshops

Horticulturist, Joseph Ford, will guide you through the process of sowing your own chilli seeds to put on your windowsill and also give helpful hints on aftercare. You can also quiz Joseph on any of your horticultural questions or problems, on anything from identification to dealing with pets and diseases. 

Free, drop in. 
Saturday 11am–6pm and Sunday 11am–5pm
