Drop into the Barbican Shop for this free paper–folding demo, where designer Kate Colin constructs an origami–style lampshade.

Gain a unique insight into her process as she transforms a flat piece of paper into a complex three dimensional structure using a series of hand scoring and folding techniques.

There will also be a variety of folded samples on display and Kate will be happy to answer any questions you may have about her practice, techniques or materials.
