HUH: Jerwood Composer+ Showcase

LSO Discovery

Jasmin Kent Rodgman

Seamlessly crossing poetry, new music, song and rap, HUH presents some of today’s most powerful voices and celebrated artists from the UK's music and spoken word scenes.

Errollyn Wallen’s hauntingly beautiful song In Our Lifetime, inspired by Nelson Mandela’s prison release, and poet Salena Godden’s unflinching essay Shade, set the concert’s themes of movement and identity.

Next up, Lyrix Organix: UnFold is spoken word as you’ve never heard, or seen, before. Influenced by jazz and contemporary classical, UnFold is a live collaboration between the UK's most exciting young poets alongside LSO Strings, percussion and emerging visual artists.

New works by the mesmerising MOBO Award Nominee Ayanna Witter-Johnson & Solomon O.B, and LSO Jerwood Composer Jasmin Kent Rodgman & Salena Godden, complete the soundscape with rap, soulful vocals and electronics.

Set within an interactive sound installation, HUH invites you to experience a truly unique concert.
