Creative Careers

Edwina trained at ALRA. She has a career spanning 12 years with a wide range of experience across theatre and live events. As DSM: The Jungle (Playhouse), The Grinning Man (Trafalgar Studios), Goosebumps Alive and Alice’s Adventures Underground (Vaults, Waterloo), Dirty Great Love Story (Arts, West End). As Stage Manager: Buggy Baby (The Yard), Trestle (Southwark Playhouse), No Villain (world premiere, Old Red Lion/Trafalgar Studios). She has also worked on stadium ceremonies including: Doha Asian Games 2006, Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010, Arab Games 2011, London Olympics & Paralympics 2012, Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014.

Malakaï is a writer, producer and theatre-maker working to stretch the limits of performing arts, enabling the socially and politically disenfranchised to make a mark within the sector and beyond. Malakaï has been commissioned as a writer by the likes of Nationwide, the Royal Court Theatre, Apples & Snakes with the RSC and Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He is an alumni of the Barbican Young Poets and is co-founder of poetry movement Veranda. Malakaï is the Artistic Director of participatory theatre company The S+K Project.

Tim has worked in the arts for 8 years across a wide range of different roles and a variety of venues. Alongside a role as Set Builder and Venue Technician at the Orange Tree Theatre, Tim has worked as a freelancer in both Theatre and TV/Film. Roles include art director, prop maker, art department assistant, sound designer, technician, production manager, assistant stage manager. Tim is currently 3 years into his role as Technical Manager at the Barbican Centre for Creative Learning and the Foyers Project team.

Tina Bicât designs for dance, circus, physical theatre, opera, installation, scripted and devised drama, big outdoor community events, intimate naturalistic shows, transformations and tricks. She makes her designs herself, or collaborates with other makers to bring them to reality. She won the Critics Circle award for her work with Punchdrunk, has written seven books on aspects of theatre practice. She also works with the students of Drama St. Mary’s the University Drama School.
