An exhibition by textile artist Carole Nunes
After studying and practising stained glass Carole is now a textile artist working in London and the South of France.
Her passion is plant forms represented in figurative and imaginary ways using 3D images mounted in frames. These soft sculptures are created by various techniques such as silk painting and machine and hand embroidery. Columbia Road Plant Market is a great inspiration to Carole, by virtue of its amazing variety of plants from the English garden to the exotic tropical, some of which are represented in this exhibition.
