Minuscule: Valley of the Lost Ants (U)

Framed Film Club

Film still from Minuscule

This beautifully animated tale is like nothing you will have seen before.

Filmed with a live action backdrop in the spectacular Ecrins national park in south-east France along with a cast of animated bugs and beasties, Minuscule is a wonderfully charming tale suitable for children of all ages.

A plucky young ladybird builds an alliance with a team of black ants in order to retrieve a box of sugar left over from a picnic. The battle is on between the black ants and red ants. A beautifully animated journey at ground level.
