A morning discussion about the musical power of the Faust legend, followed by a rehearsal of Berlioz’s The Damnation of Faust with Sir Simon Rattle.

Change of times
Owing to changes in the Orchestra’s schedule it has been necessary to change the times of the Discovery Day. The morning session will now run from 11.15am to 12.45pm in the Fountain Room, and the afternoon's open rehearsal will now start at 2pm. The day will finish at 5pm.
