Alternate Realities: Members' Preview

Members' Event

Alternate Realities

Join us on the opening night of Alternate Realities and hear Asad J. Malik, creator of documentary Terminal 3, in conversation with Senior Producer Sidd Khajuria.

Alternate Realities, a collection of free, interactive augmented and virtual reality experiences direct from Sheffield Doc/Fest, comes to the foyers 20-27 August.

These free installations across Barbican's Level G explore themes of home, community, migration and our relationship to nature, keeping the stories they tell at the heart of this new technology, and exploring the connection between spectator and screen. Now, every scene can be a world for you to step into and explore.

Come along on the opening evening to hear more about the project, enjoy a complimentary drink and experience the installations.

Please note this event is only open to Members and their guests.

This event is now fully booked. Contact us at [email protected] to be added to the waiting list.

The event runs 6:30pm - 9pm.

Please note, installations can accommodate only one person at a time, so please expect some queues.

This event is presented in collaboration with Sheffield Doc/Fest.
