Vanessa Porter

ECHO Rising Stars

Black and white photo of Vanessa Porter

Be enchanted, energised, and entertained by percussionist Vanessa Porter; a virtuoso performer who strikes sparks off everything she touches.

From the luminous nocturnal soundscapes of Salvatore Sciarrino to the urban rhythms of David Lang, Porter won’t hold back as she takes us on a colourful and wide-ranging journey through the contemporary percussion repertoire.

Already lighting up festivals across Europe, both as a soloist and part of a duo with her sister Jessica, this recital in the Europe-wide ECHO Rising Stars series is an overdue London debut for the multi-award-winning young German – one that promises to be typically and thrillingly high-octane.

This performance will finish at approximately 7.45pm, with no interval
