Mark Kavuma presents Banger Factory Records

Part of EFG London Jazz Festival

A night to celebrate trumpeter and band leader Mark Kavuma's new label, Banger Factory Records. Featuring performances from an all-star cast of musicians and special guests from London's jazz scene.

Banger Factory Records burst on to the scene in 2021 and has rapidly established itself as a label where veterans of British jazz rub shoulders with young lions to release music that encapsulates the sound, the look, the language, and the swagger of jazz music, spreading love and good vibes and ultimately shaping the future of music beyond genres, gender and borders.

In this eclectic evening of music, exceptional ensemble, The Banger Factory, will perform music from albums Arashi no Ato (2021) and their upcoming release Warriors (2022). Additionally, guitarist Artie Zaitz and trumpeter Mark Kavuma will perform an experimental, instrumental switch-up, and Kinetika Bloco will perform a fusion of influences from Brazil, New Orleans, Africa and the Caribbean, that captures the spirit and wealth of London's young, creative musical talent.

The end time for this concert will be added here closer to the performance date.

Produced by the Barbican, part of EFG London Jazz Festival.
