Music Education Islington: Coming Together

Disabled and non-disabled students from three Islington Orchestras will come together to perform a brand new composition written by composer Alexander Campkin.

Students from the MEI Orchestra, Music in Secondary Schools Trust Leaders Orchestra (MiLO) and the Richard Cloudesley Open Orchestra will join forces for a magnificent concert, showcasing their collaborative work over the term, including a world premiere.

The world premiere is a piece that has been composed by a group of Islington young people in collaboration with renowned composer, Alexander Campkin. The piece has been written especially for this group of exceptional performers. 

The three ensembles will perform a variety of pieces throughout the evening.

Music Education Islington is the Music Education Hub for the London Borough of Islington.
