The PappyShow: Wait Till The End

Open Lab Showcase

Five people launch a person into the air, as she holds a flower bouquet

This joyful and tender physical show explores how we can find life in death.

One of the few certainties in life is that we will die so why do we shy away from talking about death? Can we talk about our relationship to death in the same way as we talk about our dreams and aspirations? How do we celebrate the end of our stories?

Wait Till the End by Aaron Gordon is directed by Kane Husbands and performed by The PappyShow, a diverse ensemble of physical and visual performers.

The Open Lab Showcase presents work-in-progress performances by emerging and mid-career artists following a period of research and development at the Barbican as part of the Open Lab Programme.
