Bovenbouw

Architecture on Stage

A highly detailed model of a Bovenbouw project

Join Dirk Somers, the founding director of Antwerp-based architects Bovenbouw, for a presentation on the work of his acclaimed practice.

The Belgian architect Bovenbouw's work was the subject of a major retrospective, The House of the Explorer, staged at de Singel in Antwerp earlier this year. At this exciting time in the practice's history their founding director Dirk Somers joins us. In addition to his work as an architect, Somers is a critic, a tutor at TU Delft and a professor at Ghent University.

The Architecture Foundation, in association with the Barbican, presents Architecture on Stage – a programme of talks by the world's leading architects.
