AI: More than Human Family Day

A day of fun and free activities suitable for all ages, inspired by the exhibition.

There will be three activity-packed tours throughout the day (11am, 1pm and 3pm) designed to debunk the misconceptions many of us have about AI and bring the artificial to life.

Inspired by the ancient Japanese ceramic work on display in the show, Clayground Collective will be running a drop-in workshop throughout the day. You are invited to create tools and machinery that will be used to create a large-scale AI-themed sculpture. Working with clay in this direct hands-on way is an antithesis to the exhibition and will give families time to unwind and reflect on the impact of AI and how it can be used. AI can feel like a power beyond humans, but this workshop is all about the human touch.

Tours run at 11am, 1pm and 3pm and last roughly one hour.

Please note that kids go free but adults will need to pay for their tickets to the exhibition. 

Clayground Collective workshops run from 11am-1pm and 2-4pm in the Fountain Room.
