CBBC stars Shannon Flynn (Friday Download, Dani’s Castle) and Bobby Lockwood (Wolfblood) host a showcase of the films, television, games and websites in the running for the BAFTA Children’s Awards. A fun mix of live demonstrations, behind-the-scenes films and interviews will highlight the talent behind the nominations from actors to animators, composers to cinematographers.

Come along and see special behind the scenes films with the teams from Moshi Monsters and Sam & Mark’s Big Friday Wind-up and exclusive interviews with Debbie Moon, the creator of Wolfblood and Tristan Oliver, the Director of Photography on ParaNorman.

Guests include the creators of The Amazing World of Gumball, sharing their animation expertise and Sam Watts, composer for Wizards vs Aliens. Bobby will be answering questions about his nominated performance in Wolfblood and Shannon will be sharing her presenting top tips.

There is plenty of opportunity for audience interaction with Q&As and challenges – including a Gumball character drawing competition, and a chance for a few lucky audience members to show off their gaming skills on the big screen. The amazing prizes include Skylanders Swap Force starter packs, a Roald Dahl Brainbox Game, Star Wars Card games and more.  And no one goes home empty handed,  because all audience members will be given a yummy Hotel Chocolat lollipop at the end of the event.

Plus, why not come along before the event and have your picture taken in Boothnation’s special children’s sized photo booth – free of charge!
