Join us for another fascinating discussion on the art of puppetry, back by popular demand.

Basil Twist and Phelim McDermott bring extraordinary creatures to life on stages. They are known for using innovative puppet techniques, from wind and water to newspapers and sellotape.

Basil Twist is an award-winning designer, director and puppeteer, renowned for his unique theatrical approach. Phelim McDermott is an award-winning director and performer. He is a founding member of improvisation-focused theatre company Improbable. Their current work on My Neighbour Totoro creates magic on the Barbican's stage.

Cheryl Henson facilitates the conversation. She is the daughter of famed puppeteer Jim Henson and the President of the Jim Henson Foundation. Discover what makes puppets and imagination so effective in live theatre today.
