Hollie McNish

Hollie McNish leaning against a brick wall and looking over her left shoulder

Poet and author Hollie McNish hosts an evening of spoken word to launch her new book, Slug… and other things I’ve been told to hate.

Winner of the Ted Hughes Award for New Work in Poetry, McNish’s readings are not to be missed. Expect strong language and adult content as she chats about and reads from this new collection, covering topics from love and loss to friendship, Finnish saunas, Kellogg’s anti-masturbation pants and the monotony of the parenting bench.

Slug is to be published in May 2021 with Hachette.

We are working to reschedule this performance.
