BBC SO & Melodica Men

The Melodica Men smiling excitedly

Outlandish musicianship and high jinks from the internet sensations who are transforming the classical repertoire, one deep breath at a time.

What started off as two guys playing toy instruments on street corners has become an international internet sensation. BBC SO are excited to collaborate for the first time with the Melodica Men, who are rapidly reinventing the landmarks of the classical repertoire with nothing more than outlandish musicianship and instruments that resemble a toy keyboard crossed with a kazoo.

Combining the ultimate in versatility and virtuosity, the ever-entertaining Melodica Men (aka Tristan Clarke and Joe Buono) pit their musical wits against the full forces of the BBC Symphony Orchestra for their UK debut for a show likely to be wild and wonderful.

The performance will finish at approximately 9:30pm. It includes a 20 minute interval.
