Academy Award–winning composer Hildur Guðnadóttir, known for Chernobyl, Tár and The Joker, brings her album Where to From to life on stage in a performance with immersive sound and light.

Marking the 20th anniversary of her first solo record, Mount A, Guðnadóttir presents Where to From, an intimate sonic diary brought to the stage for the first time. She describes it as a “snapshot of [her] feeling-tone at the moment… a sort of diary of tonality,” capturing the music that constantly plays in her mind.

Having stepped back from touring in recent years, she is joined by an ensemble of friends to perform Where to From alongside selections from her earlier works. Strings and voices are their shared instruments, creating a natural resonance when they play together. For this performance, the music is paired with dynamic light design by Theresa Baumgartner, transforming the concert into a fully immersive experience where sound and light converge, inviting the audience into Guðnadóttir’s unique sonic world.
