Guildhall School launches a new academic year with a spectacular evening, including Puccini’s Messa di Gloria, under the baton of internationally acclaimed conductor Daniela Candillari.

Known for her dynamic presence on both opera and concert stages around the world, Candillari makes her debut with the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra & Chorus in a programme that spans lyricism, brilliance and drama.

The concert opens with Orpheus’ Comet by Guildhall alumna Dobrinka Tabakova, a work of shimmering textures and celestial energy.

Mendelssohn’s joyful and sun-soaked Italian Symphony follows, before the evening culminates in Puccini’s powerful Messa di Gloria – a thrilling showcase for chorus and orchestra alike.
