Nicolas Philibert's French-language documentary paints a portrait of patients in a day care centre for adults, that floats on the river Seine.

On The Adamant portrays the floating structure L'Adamant Day Center, located on the Seine river in Paris. The structure is a special day care centre for the treatment of adults. The film is a touching portrayal of those who use the centre and the work that it does.

The film won the Golden Bear at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival, and was nominated for the Berlinale Documentary Film Award.
