Separating walls, checkpoints, borders: physical boundaries but also emotional ones. The tales of this programme take us into the protagonists’ inner core as they battle their surroundings and hope for liberation.

Zoo (2022)

Wandering through the Worst Zoo in the World, a young boy Sami is looking for his football. The loner finds more than that when he encounters the little tiger Laziz, who follows him on his quest to find a safe place to play. Against all odds, they become friends. But the remnants of war harbor danger.

Mohammed, a young Palestinian, is desperately looking for a taxi to take him through an Israeli checkpoint. The driver, Farouk, discovers that Mohammed has already failed to cross the checkpoint. Trouble begins.
