A dog and a robot romp around New York in the 1980s in this animated comedy.

Dog lives in Manhattan and he’s tired of being alone. One day he decides to build himself a robot, a companion. Their friendship blossoms, until they become inseparable, to the rhythm of 80’s NYC. One summer night, Dog, with great sadness, is forced to abandon Robot at the beach. Will they ever meet again?

Robot Dreams is a 2023 Spanish-French animated tragicomedy by Pablo Berger, based on Sara Varon's comic from 2007.

Premiering at Cannes in 2024, the film won Best Film in the Contrechamp section of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
